Cachaça Volupia began production in 1946 at the
Lagoa Verde sugar cane mill in Alagoa Grande in the
interior of the state of Paraíba, situated 105Km
from the capital, João Pessoa.
The manufacturing process is rigorous, beginning with
the planting of the sugar cane all the way through botting,
constantly aiming for better quality. Sugar cane types,
which are richest in sacarose, are selected and fertilized
exclusively with organic material.
Sugar cane grinding begins in September and ends in
March of the following year. The juice collected is
then filtered and fermented without any chemical additives.
Its is a 100% natural process.
